Celiac Disease is on the rise and recent studies have shown that since the 1950's our statistics have almost quadrupled. However, most people think that if they are not diagnosed with Celiac then they are in the clear, which is the farthest thing from the truth. We are now coming to understand that 1 in 3 are suffering from Gluten Sensitivity, which can go untreated and undiagnosed for years.
Some of the conditions associated with any type of gluten intolerance are as follows:
Inflammatory Diseases (Arthritis)
& much more
Ultimately, if you are not diagnosed with Celiac or GS but suffer from any one of the issues mentioned above, I would highly suggest doing a 2 week elimination diet to monitor how your body reacts. It could be exactly what you need to see any type of clinical improvements in your overall health and vitality.

To Your Best Week,
Hello Ladies. If you haven't seen my post yet published on MindBodyGreen, you can check it out here. It's filled with daily self-care practices that will serve as a great reminder. Go ahead, give it a go and share it with all of the important women in your life.
To make sure the men don't feel left out, this post is dedicated to simple, small changes that can be made in order to protect their health as well. How many commercials do you see on a daily basis regarding low T? The truth is, low testosterone is currently an epidemic. There are a lot of chronically tired, over worked and very stressed guys out there who are suffering in their 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond. Avoiding medication is critical if possible, especially at first. I suggest trying natural ways to increase your testosterone, before taking that plunge. Make sure you talk to your doctor and figure out the best option for you.
From a holistic perspective, there are certain nutrients that can help increase the natural production of your own T. Most of the time, when a man finds out he is low in testosterone, he is depleted of many of these very necessary vitamins and minerals. There are specialized tests you can take as well that will tell you exactly what your body is in need of right now.

Also, making sure you are getting 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep every night, training smart, nourishing your body with the right protein, carb, fat ratio and finding ways to reduce stress are equally as important. It sounds simple, but these lifestyle suggestions will only help benefit you in the long run as you work towards balancing your hormones.
We live in a world where both men and women are suffering to feel energetic and vital, so it's time to put yourself and your health first. We innately know more than we think we do! It's a matter of listening to your body and what it is trying to tell you.
To Your Best Life,
I used to be against any type of cleansing whatsoever. But, now that I am more knowledgeable on the subject, I definitely believe with the right kind of whole food detox (and not a radical juice or fasting program), a cleanse is an absolute necessity to jumpstart any person's plan.
There are many benefits that you will almost instantaneously see and feel but here are a few to mention:
You're now wondering where do I sign, right?
There's virtually no reason not to cleanse and I always suggest 4 times a year; with every season change. As we are coming into summer, now would be a great time to get 7 days behind you and see for yourself just how valuable this tool can be in your overall health and vitality!
Contact me for more information or with any questions or concerns. I promise it will be one of the best things you do for yourself in the long run.
Has coconut oil become a part of your daily regime?
There are so many different uses for this versatile healthy fat, yet most people haven't added it as a staple in their diet. Coconut oil is great for your thyroid, brain, immune system, skin, detoxification and literally supports and protects every organ in your body.
Making healthy stir fry's and blending it in coffee are 2 of my favorite ways to get my coconut fix.
